Neighborhoods
We're learning a lot in our "new" home (lovingly referred to at different times as "the place they're making us live", "the house that doesn't stink", "not home", and my personal favorite "the place full of not our stuff"). First, we are not "neighborhood" people, kids included. We've come to appreciate our privacy a bit too much. Not to say that we don't have nice neighbors here; we do. There are just a lot of them...everywhere. Also, our yard seems to be the neighborhood pooping grounds. Apparently this decision was made by the tribal council before our arrival to Casa Del Carmel Drive, so I just bought a good scooper and work overtime. Why fight it? And finally, we understand why the majority of people on Cops! come from single level homes. There is little room to escape each other without an upstairs. I love those kids dearly, but that pink playroom is just not far enough away when they are singing Pokemon songs and playing crash-up legos. At least they can ride bikes here. It really has been everyone's salvation. I've created more reasons for them to ride on over to Palm Drive than you can imagine!
