They cleaned out contents the week of 7/28 and on 8/2/08 they tore out cabinets, doors, and trim downstairs. Talk about mixed emotions! On one hand, it's hard to see your house being torn apart. But on the other, the home we loved was lost a month ago and this is just another step toward rebuilding.
The contractor said we still don't have permits, but the county has granted permission to tear out drywall so that the architect can see the details necessary to finish his plans.
